To learn more about the newly opened park : Background History The Park has been established and designed to offer tourism attractions to the public and foreign explores in twenty acres site opposite to Makufuli catchments forest since 2004. It is an investment, scaling up Government efforts to boost tourism development in Zanzibar and generates additional revenues for the nation and local communities.

It is a not a place for just an animals ride but is a new place for relaxation, amusement and learning for locals and foreign visitors, opened in October 2009. The park is located alongside the Mwera Road opposite to Makufuli Catchments Forest, 3 miles west of Zanzibar Town. Zanzibar Park Ltd is a unique and one of the country’s most popular wildlife attractions, attracting good number of visitors including school Children.The Park didn't forget kids play ground. Kids have their own lunar pack side for all their sports and busy keeping: Inside the park while lots of animals’ species pass around on their Zoo move.
