DAY 1
Arrival Arusha transfer to Victoria House for preparation ; dinner O/night.
DAY 2
After B/Fast drive to L.Natron via Engaruka with picnic lunch en-route through the escarpment of the great rift valley. Engaruka is the most important site in Africa pre- historical stone age tools e.g. ; axes, picks hammers etc, dinner O/night at Lake Natron Camp. (At mid - night '00hrs, drive to Mt. Oldonyo Lengai base and starts trekking which takes 8 to 9hours to and from. "Oldoinyo Lengai is an active volcano. Its a hot, arduous climb up to its menacing crater. (In Maasai language meansmountain of God).
DAY 3
From the mountain drive back to campsite around (10am - 11am) for brunch, then
4pm visit the waterfalls at Engaresero river where swimming its possible, it is
believed the water can heal skin disease. Later dinner O/night at the camp.
DAY 4
After B/Fast start walking supported by donkeys and guides to Nayobi via
Mongoilei" crest, Lerai forest up to a Maasai village Nayobi. (15kms ;7.5 hours walking) picnic lunch on the way to Nayobi primary school campsite. Dinner O/night.
DAY 5
After B/Fast Trek further to Empakaai crater rim. A pristine forested crater
with no roads or human inhabitants. Hike down from the east rim to the
craterfloor. It is then an easy walk to the lake, where some times huge flocks
of flamingo can be seen. Dinner and O/night at crate rim southern campsite.
DAY 6
After B/Fast proceed with your trekking slow but sure to Bulati (9kms ; 5.5hours walking) picnic lunch en-route. Dinner and O/night at Bulati plain highlands to camp at Bulati primary school.
DAY 7
After B/Fast, walk through Embulmbul depression path where(south extremity) to
Nainokanoka campsite.(17.5kms ; 7.5hours walking) picnic lunch enroute. at
4.00pm - climb Olmoti crater through forest to the shallow grassy ; Seethe
beautiful water falls of the Munge river which is the main source supplying
water into the crater floor. Dinner& O/night at Nainokanoka camp.
DAY 8
After B/fast, meet with your driver guide in his safari vehicle drive into
Ngorongoro crater for game viewing, picnic lunch into Ngorongoro craterlater
afternoon drive to the lodge on the crater rim for a lush dinner,drinking, story
telling and wonderful night through your adventure holiday.
DAY 9
After B/Fast drive to Serengeti N. park, hot lunch in the midth of Serengeti
wildlife migration, followed by evening game drive dinner O/night at camp.
DAY 10
Early morning at 06.00am game drive in Serengeti followed by B/Fast at around
09.00am. Morning leisure at the camp (if one or the group prefergame viewing can
still be on). After lunch visit the Serengeti kopjes famous for predators,
reptiles and birds of prey as their nesting, shelter and hiding place. Dinner
and O/night at the camp.
DAY 11
After B/Fast drive to Olduvai Gorge, where Fossil bones, tools and tracks tells
the story of human and animal evolution over the past 3.5million years.Lunch at
Lake Manyara lodge/Hotel. Later game drive at Lake Manyara N. park famous for
tree climbing Lions, then proceed for dinner & O/night at Elephant Tented Lodge Mswakini village. After dinner special night game drive where animals like SPRING HARE (Pedetes capensis). An odd large rodent with a KANGAROO like appearance, the fore legs being shorter and hind legs extremely longer and powerful will be specialty of the night. This area is the only site where one is able to spot these animal.
DAY 12
After B/fast full day game drive at Tarangire N. park, followed by hot lunch at
a beautiful escarpment and spectacular view of Tarangire river, the site and
sound of birds and the great Jumbo Elephant will be roaming while having your
lunch, later back to your lodge for dinner and O/night.
DAY 13
After B/Fast visit Maasai community development at Mswakini villagee.g ;
schools, dispensary, cattle razing Bomas mixing with their culture later back to
your lodge for lunch (Elephant Tented). Afternoon bird watching and short
escorted walking around the lodge. Dinner followed by Maasai cultural dance then
O/night.
DAY 14
After B/Fast drive back to Arusha for departure.
